I am about to finish the 2nd of the series and could not wait for US publication to read the 3rd. Just ordered the 3rd from Amazon UK. The shipping almost matches the cost of the book, but I am very much looking forward to continuing to find out about Salandar and to see if my conjectures are correct. In my humble opinion, there are weaknesses in the plot development, but the characters are mesmerizing. I only regret that Larsson could not reap the success of this series and that we have been deprived of more enjoyable reading!!

ALL the comments are correct......Steig Larsson was absolutely brilliant! I am in the middle of the 2nd book (agree, they should be read in order). I finished the 1st in 2 days (could not stop). The 2nd is even better, if that's possible. I haven't seen the 3rd in English as yet. LOVE Salander! LOVE Larsson, LOVE not being able to put these books down. I'm going to be sad when it's over...There aren't enough adjectives!

- pammyh44@hotmail.com, 5 November 2009

I got the first book from a Danish internet bookstore: www.williamdam.dk I'm not sure though if the post outside Denmark (if not there might be others who do. An other option would be an international book store in your capital city - good luck in your search
